I'm thinking that as impractical an X5 or ML is as a 'dual purpose on/offroader' the only way it works is to go bananas and get the full breakfast ///M or AMG. Crappy offroad they may be but in this mental guise they actually make a little bit of sense. I admit I love the F85 body in ///M spec. The Cayenne may be the better driver (dunno - a peasant like me gets chased from dealerships) but IF I could choose I'd have the ///M because, I mean, just look at it. It hemorrhages rivers of F U presence & power from every angle. BMWFTW. Got a slight crush now...
