X35i Oil Consumption

Hey Guys,

So yesterday my oil light came on and I had to fill up a pint of oil into my N54 335i. Is it normal for the car to be taking oil after 10000kms or should I have it checked out?

Mileage is now 109xxxkm, last service was at 98xxxkm.

yes these cars do consume a bit of oil especially when driven hard

:ty: I barely drive her hard, just got a bit worried when the light came on.

Think I need to get a bottle of liquid moly for the boot.

Its normal. When driven in anger they do drink a bit of oil.

M engines normally burn some oil, it's normal. Normal driving should take a pint every 8-10000km. Hard driving every 5000km
