The only thing a Jag does faster than get to 100km/h is losing value
:tiptoe:

That said, emotional side of the brain = JAG

Sensible side of the brain = BMW M2

As others have said.......first world problems:roflol:

depends on the JAG :=):

I think go for the Jag. It's as simple as that. I am only guessing but I would assume the Jag would hold its value a little better, it is more exclusive.:coolShake:

the M2 is nice, but driving a 400kw plus car makes the Jag a no brainer...I have an F10 M5 , cant see myself buying the M2 over the jag, both are beautiful....

It wasn't a limited production vehicle. I may be wrong. It should be worth something in 20 years like all other Ms though.

they say that but people couldn't get the car & the second hand price was higher than the list price

100% M2, The car is a limited edition, an instant collectors item. It won't only maintain its value but also go up in value.

Power aside, the M2 is a spruced up "regular" car. The Jag is designed from the ground up as a piece of art.

This is like putting make-up on a traffic warden to make her (or him, to be politically correct) look good vs a supermodel...

Tough Choice, the JAG for me though which has the best noise second only to the Maserati quattroport IMHO. :tiptoe:

thanks for the input everyone.. seems the Jag has some fans here.
it will be the F type R but not AWD its the RWD.
pricing is excellent considering the mileage and what the new cost was so the depreciation over the next 2 years shouldn't be too bad.

for the guys who think the M2 is limited.. unfortunately its not. if it were i would keep the car but BMW has increased production and the numbers coming in this year compared to last year is more than double. they may hold better value for the next 12 months but after that they wont..

just to add that I drove an M6 as well. only had 6000kms on it for around the same price as the Jag. it felt big and not nearly as entertaining as the M2. its definitely a lot faster but it feels slower and I'm not keen on being fast but feeling slower.. defeats the purpose for me..

That's what the salesman is telling you. You just have to look at the pricing of the past R models to see it's wishful thinking at best.
