Update time!
1. I am happy to report that 90% of vibration reported earlier is gone after replacing all 4 tyres. I had a full suspension inspection done on the 3rd of October, including shocks, all control arms, engine/gearbox mountings, bushings etc. I also had the rims inspected again to make sure they are straight, overall everything is OK, apart from the stabiliser links that are a bit moeg. I have already obtained pricing, and at R640 for both I will replace at the next oil service.
New tyres going on!

2. I wrapped the kidneys & spray painted the mirror caps round about the same time (I think it was in June 2018). I am happy to report the combination of Rust-Oleum products used on the mirror caps have been holding up great.
Even though its a front facing part (prone to bugs, rocks etc), it doesn’t have any chips, discolouration, fading etc of any kind. I am really happy with how they are holding up. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the grills.
If I have to take a wild guess its probably due to combination of factors, being el-cheapo gloss black wrap used (bought on BidorBuy - avoid) & my wrapping skills not being on par. After a few months it started to make bubbels, and I subsequently removed the wrap. Luckily I have a spare set of OEM kidneys that I could fit while working on the other set.
Process followed:
1. Remove wrap & clean thougly.
2. Sand with 60/100/800/2000 grid sandpaper
3. Wash again, leave to dry
4. Apply primer in light coats (all products used in pics below)
5. Apply 3 coats paint
6. Apply gloss black clear coat
7. Leave to cure in the wendyhouse for 5 days prior to fitment.

@schalk320d assisted me to replace all 4 boost seals mentioned in my previous post on the 6th of October. With him having completed the DIY a few weeks back on his car, I was in able and confident hands. Couple of minutes in
@FerdiBotha also jumped in. This ended up as a group effort, and compensation was in the form of a well deserved beer & burger afterwards!
I want to thank both again for their assistance, having people like you on the forum makes this a great place!

raise:
Clear sign of a boost leak
Pipes cleaned up nicely
@FerdiBotha applied his voodoo polishing technic on my tips - loving the shiny look! :bravo:
Lastly, I got some new fanatics stickers that was promptly fitted.
Next up:
1. As mentioned in my previous post an oil service is due in 2000km.
2. Together with the oil service Ill replace the front stabiliser links
3. Before that though I will be visiting ZF on the 10th of October. When the car was on a lift on the 3rd of October I saw some oil on the plastic cover directly underneath the gearbox. The gearbox received a clean bill of health roughly 8000km ago, and hasn’t given any issues as yet. Being pedantic I called up Nico and an appointment was made, Ill rather get it diagnosed & sorted sooner than later.
