the last 3 days, i started getting a bad vibration especially when decelerating.
but it comes and goes .

could this be propshaft?

if so, is this going to be a expensive repair?

Guibo is more likely. It is the rubber flex disc between the gearbox and propshaft.

Does it happen when braking from 100 to 80 kph? If so, it is upper control arm bushes.

i notice it the most when slowing down from 40kph.

i is still comes and goes too much to tell if it is RPM related when the car is in neutral.

As per P1000's post - a worn Propshaft coupling:

Checked without dismantling anything.
If installed incorrectly, it can cause some more vibrations.

ok, once again i feel like an idiot.

the noise/vibration happened again this morning.
i immediately stopped , put the car into neutral and started doing stuff to figure this out, turns out it was steering related.i turned around and went back home, topped up the power steering fluid and it has been quiet ever since.
i will just keep my eye on it for a while before i will be completely satisfied.

now i just need to figure out where my fluid is going.

Lol. I would replace the guibo anyway if you think it is worn. Clutchplate's let go and it destroyed and shorted out some wiring, which destroyed the ECU...

Just to add:
Don't let just anyone replace it. A place that specializes in prop shafts should be a better bet. I had my 318's guibo replaced at a normal mechie and I've had a vibration ever since even though I took the car back like 4 times and they had the prop re-balanced every time.
