Guys, very urgent, no time to search, car is stripped and being worked on as we speak.
I put in the 328 manifolds yesterday, ran 57mm piping and replaced the middle cats with a 400mm silencer.
I decided to complete the whole system, so I was advised to complete the piping dual 57mm, replace the little 200mm OEM box with a 300mm silencer and keep the back box original.
My thing is: by keeping the OEM back box, am I defeating the purpose of a free flow cos it’s too restrictive ?
I want to keep as quiet but also have a bit of a deeper tone without being too intrusive in the cabin.
Should I remove the back box as well ? I don’t want it too loud.
Please can I have your views asap so I can tell Ralf at Speedway.
