I have said this before in a post and will say it again, I attended a KZN meet up once, was on holiday over Easter weekend, rented a polo sedan 1.4,guys met me at the total by autostyle and we had a group go through to the main meeting point.

these guys really made me and my family feel at home, they made sure I didn't get lost, even when we went to another place and chatted over coffee, afterwards around 9 ish then made sure I got back to my hotel safely.

to this day it is an event I will never forget, again I would like to say thank you to the KZN guys ,you guys rock

The KZN boys never fail to impress:rollsmile:

We (gp) need to have track day event.
News of a something in the pipeline will be broken by early next week, just after next event.

We trying to please everyone...would be lovely to have some of those who commented in this thread show some initiative as well.

DB thanks for always being a player Bro. Highly appreciated. Keep your eyes peels.

The 5 fanatics that where at the Midvaal track day can attest that track days are fun.

No worries Firi, just thought I would through it in the mix.

Maybe the CT guys got lost?

For future reference:
mountain and sea on the right = going north
mountain and sea on the left = going south
mountain on the left, sea on the right = going south
mountain on the right, sea on the left = going north

Well there's your problem right there... solution: level that mountain and build a parking lot. No more confusion.

So one (1) WC member responded.

While the event invite does not include the departure time, this is something that is necessary for a Convoy, i dont believe it is the identifying factor for the dismal attendance.

If at all, there should have been a hive of confused members at the meeting point, which there wasn't...

Im going to be bold and ask the CT coordinators to drastically cut down on events, to save them being demotivated all the time. This will change if events attendance does increase over the next event.

We are not forcing you to attend, but off a forum with over 25 000 members, surely 20 from CT can attend. Heck, call it 10 members and i/we will be satisfied.

As always, events coordinators are not employed by TheFanatics at all, they are volunteers who (for lack of a better word) sacrifice personal time to setup, create and coordinate these events.

My message is not directed at anyone particularly.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, or even if you wish to assist, please feel free to contact myself or any of the CT coordinators.

Hello I'm very disappointed, I'm standing here at your event by myself and nobody is introducing themselves to me :bluecry:

Guys. I really am keen to make the Western Cape Chapter work. I therefore urge all members to please contribute to the feedback (I will even create a thread for this very purpose).

I think the main problem is that there might be a misunderstanding in agreement (yes this does sound like a contradiction). What does this mean? Everyones not on the same page. And as long as this continues we arent going to get anywhere.

I want everyone on the same page and therefore urge all members to tell me what they wish to get out of events.

Im keen to organise go kart events, 'midnight' meets at petrol stations (which always makes for awesome pics), runs via mountain passes to restaurants to watch some F1, etc.

All I need is an indication of what tickles your fancy.

Look forward to every response!
