Thanks gents.

Over the weekend replaced all the coils and suppressors:

This as really improved the idle smoothness, though I have noticed that the idle does become a bit more lumpy after the car has been driven in stop and go traffic.

Sank are those Bosch or Bremi coils from GW ?

Indeed, will probably tackle the fogs next.....though I still need to get them working as some "highly" "professional" "panel shop" decided to screw up the fog light wiring for some reason.

Yup I applied the clear thick lamin-x to everything.

A couple of small fixes:

Welcome back Sank :)

How does she go after replacing the fuel filter ? Throttle response must be smoother without all that gunk stuck in the filter :yuck:

Thank you.

Strangely enough it made absolutely no difference, when I test drove it right after it felt better at higher RPM, but the butt dyno must have been mistaken as the next morning it again felt as before, falling horribly flat at higher RPM.

Not that low, lowered 35mm in the front 10mm in the rear, but still sitting taller than the 330i on its factory springs

No ride height pics unfortunately, you will just have to entertain yourself with this post lower pic from back when I first fitted the springs:

This car reminds me of another that was bought for the purpose of taking the wheels off and selling it.......never happened as was the case with this one which was bought for the purpose of keeping the interior.......also never happened.

So this weekend was service time yet again.
Got new boot and bonnet shocks and a new oil filter support.

The oil:

Fitted the oil filter support, seeing as someone that worked on the car previously deemed it appropriate to throw the old one away effectively rendering the filter useless:

Fitted the boot and bonnet shocks, went for M5 boot shocks, because racecar:
