So ive given the go ahead after the received quote for the Diff Service and Axle seal replacement, as it is confirmed that is leaking, albeit slowly, id rather just have the peace of mind that nothing is leaking at all.
They need about a day to do it, then final assembly of Under trays etc will happen tomorrow, as well as the oil change after run in, as the car has done about 650km now.
If all goes well, the car can be collected either Wednesday or Thursday by my selected car Carrier.

They will let me know tomorrow.

So waiting with baited breath now at this point.
I know that Wednesday afternoons are open track days at Zwartkops, reckon they should pop out there and give it it's last 300kms worth on the track.

Hiya all.
So great update.
Car was collected this morning at Budler by Exotic Carriers, and is part of the manifest for todays trip. with their turn around time, i should have the car Friday afternoon, so will wait to hear from the team. its an enclosed truck, so safe from the elements.

Video of the loading:

Im looking very forward to this. Its been a journey.

Will keep you all updated as to when i collect her.

Congrats on getting on the way to you in Cpt!
That car has such a subtle yet mean tone...love it!

Enjoy it bud!

The traffic circle by SMG in Century City is great to test out rear traction whilst in drift mode. The peeps sitting at Tiger's Milk will enjoy the spectacle and will definitely not mind the smoke and smell of burning rubber.

Noted... will test it for sure lol.

On that note... does anyone here in CPT have any contacts at BMW Century City that they can put me in touch with? not for now, but for future reference and parts sales.
Would appreciate the contact.

Chat to Craig at the parts department at Century City. Tell him Jason with the E36 and E46's referred you, he'll hook you up. Man is an absolute LEGEND.

I think the one guy there is named Darrel or something like that. They're actually very lekker there and super helpful. Be brave young man and just go say hi and buy some windscreen washer fluid to test the waters. Cape Town people generally don't bite unless provoked.
