Here is the previous mini review and installation of the BMS Catch Can Kit (335 Twin Turbo)

To reiterate, the purpose of the Oil Catch Can: Is preventative maintenance: Keep oil & contaminants out of your BMW air intake system, Intercooler & turbos and increases the engines performance and longevity.

This is how the catch can looks like:

Since March 2012, I can report the following (about 2,500 Ks done):

1. First removed the Stett charge pipe.

2. The intake pipe was (clean of oil) a little water moist but nothing serious:

3. And so were the Forge diverter valves & the opening to the Intercooler...all clean. Great news.

4. Unscrewed the bottom of the Catch Can (took 2 minutes max):

5. As expected there were enough oil collected that should concern one. In my previous mini review I collected much more oil but that was also because I had more kilometers done in comparison to this review:

This confirms why its important to install an oil catch can on a turbo charge car.

Thanks for reading.

I'm not sure about BMWs,but I've seen oil in the charge pipe to the intercooler on a polo tdi. Need to sort that out soon.

Great products.
Just a idea, have your'll decide to approach bmw with this product, giving a detail explanation of how it works, and why the vehicle should benefit by fitting this products. If bmw approves this products, sales will increase to a great extent. Just food for thought i guess.

I hear you Skyf, but its not worth the effort dealing with BMW's beaurocracy.
