The reason SDP turns it down is because it loses traction in the higher gears. He doesn't turn the boost down due to launch problems. so there's no point switching to high boost in 3rd gear.

Kak man, when he hits high boost the earth rotates a bit and ODI is north running so he doesn't wanna shift the poles.

Strong cars these I hope one day I can compete.

Are you serious?Have you ever been in a turbo car that Sav has done,even a 325 turbo?Let me put things in perspective a Z4M makes 165-169wkw on Savs conservative dyno,a V8 M3 around 196wkw,a C63 206wkw,a supercharged E92 M3 like Sherwin's just over 300wkw.My friends 328 made 280wkw at just 1bar and will make around [email protected] you getting the picture,these are the entry level cars and do over 200kph on the 1/4mile and around 12 flat with road rubber and well well over 250kph on the kilo!11.2@212-218 1/4mile and 277 on the kilo and that's now ONLY a E36 M3!Now we are moving on to the E46 M3 that flows much better than a E36 M3 and is a lot stronger power wise,and finally my old V8 M3!Its just about done and you will most likely see over 600wkw on high boost very soon!These are the first Z4M and E92 M3 turbo's in the world and I think Sav was also first with the E46 M's!Any of these cars will make more running eth or meth and can also boost more and run safer(not that that's an issue)and cooler.Were you joking when you asked your question?Credit where it is due!

Yeah how is that for shit luck, he was standing still on the highway when a taxi forgot to notice that there were no cars moving on the entire highway and swerved left and then back right straight into the Z4:fishwack:

Not a taxi but a GWM Bakkie,it will be fixed soon better than it was.The chassis wasn't bent and the rear deck lid,bumper,fender and light will be replaced.I might still fit the GT3 body kit but would like to do a few runs first as the body kit would create too much drag.Sergio's Z4 is going for peanuts at 400k for anyone who is interested but would need some minor modifications to make it run properly with out cutting out.

I hope this hyped up Z4M actually pulls off some numbers at the track to back up the horsepower claims...

290+kph on the 1km sprint and 10 second quarter miles is where it needs to be, otherwise it will just be another "claimed wonder child"

Agreed, however it sounds like 10's may not be on the cards but the exits definitely. 220'ish on the 400m as well to be expected.

Im keen to see how this car does. Has definitely been hyped up and the dyno figures seem to back up the hype. Now to put something down on the tar.

Don't bet on it,Sergio's Z4 was running a T72 turbo at odi and has upgraded to a T76 now so let me tell you if he runs 225 on the 1/4mile he should be between 305-310 on the kilo.Any doubts,let's wait and see and as for the 10 second remark,it CAN do it!Sergio does not have experience with mickeys and did not warm them up properly before he ran!What is the fastest full trim(not stripped)road(not drag)BMW M3 in the world at the moment,is it the Saad racing E46 M3?

Maximum PSI - Mike Radowski - E36 M3 3.0 Turbo - 9.548 @ 253 kph
Saad Racing - Saad - E46 M3 Turbo - 10.75 @ 224 kph

The Saad car is on a smaller turbo (6766) as it is obviously more street focused, the Maximum PSI BMW ran high 9's low 10's on the previous smaller turbo setup

Yes it is buddy,and it's sorted and doesn't cut out like Sergio's.I should get it back next month its a shame though,I was at odi on Sunday and would have liked to do a 1k run.It looks like I am going to build another full drag motor in January to run 2.5+bar for this car,something similar to a VS motor kit!

Very strong launch,the ones I've seen here battle to launch.Opinions are fine but don't run the guy down because you don't like him.I can guarantee that every tuner picks up problems and it is a hard game to increase the power level 3-4 times more than standard (reliably),we should congratulate these guys for having the guts to do what they do.Everything I have stated about times,speeds and power figures are correct and I waited 4 years before I went ahead with Sav.I have been in Mario's E46 M3,George's(Fahrenheit)E46 M3,Paul's(white castrol edge)E46 M3 and a Phoenix gold E46 M3 from Vereeniging,and my old E92 M3 and none of them were as described by our friend from above!You need to know how to drive to pilot these turbos or else you will get hurt,you know first hand,you had a E36 M so where does the boring part come in?People always talk about the stuff ups but forget the achievements.
