A quick question chaps.

Myself and a friend are replacing a G/knob on a 1999 E36 Z3 3.0l on the weekend,I have bought the OEM knob from Auto Glen BMW.

My question is, how do we go about removing the old one and fitting the new one???

any advise is welcome! :praise:

Nothing a flippen Electric hacksaw with a 40cm blade couldn't fix, followed up by a hammer a chissle job, and some steel filing, and then some broken and bleeding fingers, a moer dirty interior, and FINALLY, replacement know fitted... ~)

Some of the interior trimmings started cracking so I re-sprayed them and the shifter was still the wooden type and I wanted it to match.

I went to Coisman's connection for a price on the gear knob in his showcase and I got a quote for R450.
I informed my dear friend about the ridiculous price, and not too long after that we walked into the shop again - this time Coisman accompanied me. Coisman enquired about the gear knob and his connection just said "Take it - it’s yours".
What the hell ?

Shows that it's not who you are, but who you know...
