Replacement V8 Engine Suggestions

Haha. Would prefer a rebuild.

I seriously thibk the damage is not as severe as they are claiming, I think the only problem is the oil pump, and guides.

Like I said, car had full power. And once it showed me low compression warning I immediately phoned a tow truck

According to them the engine is completely screwed, but I do not believe that, as I said before, it started perfectly without any hesitations, power was there, was just the noise (the guides broke).

Nope they didn't have, only place I south africa was JapanAuto, but the engines block was cracked and they were asking R55K for it, I can't even find one in the states, so will rather be fixing it up.
