Ok so i ran into a Problem. :'( not a big problem but its a problem

With the car supposed to be going in to have the M3 arches this weekend, Looks like it will have to be postponed. :'(

Past few months i been enjoying the car little way too much.
Wheel spinning, Valve bouncing and the likes..

Regrettably, it would seem My Valve Stem seals are starting to Wear.

Oil consumption is a little worse than what it was.
And im getting a nice cloud of Bluish smoke When pulling away from a stop Some times..

like once every 20 stops, It will puff.

Compression test was done.
To Save battery life, Done the test on 6 Engine cranks and all Cylinders gave steady reading of 30psi which tells me even wear ( Maybe i shudnt assume )LOL

Got a Labour quote of R4500 to do the Seals. :|

Plus, i have around 8k worth of miantenance parts i wanted to Purchase, PLUS wanted to fit new tires to the Style 40s...

It never rains but poors. LMAO!

pushing the flares out by a month. need to get the following done:

* ValveStem Seals
* CCV + 4 hoses
* Valve cover gasket
* 5000km Oil change ( Trying to get my oil golden )
* Thermostat
* Oil level Sensor
* New Tires ( Conti's on the wheels are Dry rotted )

Once the above is done, Then i can focus on the cosmetics.

Valvestem seals Myself and Wifes cousin will attempt to do them with the head still on.
So lots of pics to follow.

Thanks to Current state of the world,

Most parts i needed are on Back order from dealer. Germany order so no telling when i will get it

In the meantime, now that parts stores can trade, i got the following Parts to get some issues sorted:

Oil level Sensor (Hella)
Will do an Oil change too.
New oil filter ( I prefer BMW brands but beggers cant be choosers right now so MANN will have to do )

Airfilter is Temporary. Need to clean and re-oil my K&N filter.

Tappet cover gasket to fix my leak there

And some Injector cleaner for when i get to drive the car again to clean out injectors.

Also Installed a Cupra Lip to the Mtech1.
But eventually im going to go Mtech2 front and rear ( if i can find a rear bumper )

And i also Got Another Msport Wheel.. ( TRUST ME WHEN I SAY IT LOOKED MUCH WORSE THAN IT CURRENTLY LOOKS )
Touched up few sections.
Plan to restore It, remove all the incorrect paint from plastics and i sealed the Cracks in the grip.

Ordered the MEwant Leather kit for this so must wait for that to also come

Great stuff bro!

MANN make great filters and have been around for ages, some BMW filters are actually manufactured by them and re-branded.

Wifes cousin (Shabeer), also confirmed they good Manufacturer and he uses them on his customers cars too.

Thanks Bud
Any Advice on how to prep the "Chrome" or will it stick and not peel.
I just used some sand paper to scuff up the chrome finish. Nothing too hectic just so it loses its shine. Wipe down with alcohol since every has some lying around now. Then just lay it on in some light even coats.

Did some work this weekend

Tappet cover Gasket Replaced. ( had bad oil leak )
She looks pretty healthy in there.

Repaired Crack on Tappet cover
Noticed its been repaired from the inside before. Looks Like GUMGUM was used ( That red exhaust Sealant )
Will look out for another tappet cover in the future.

Also sprayed the Kidneys in Satin Black
think the came out pretty decent

PS: im not liking how this new Image upload thing works. Just my opinion. LOL
