Thanks for all the suggestions guys,

I think i will stick to the exclusive look rather than the Motorsport look, I dont have a Motorsport so why try to pretend that I do

i like the middle pic from SP33DYV's post.

Nice choice

I have been offered a straight swop for my current boooorning style 360's for a set of msport rims.

1. I currently have 205/55/16 tyres all round with the 360's, what would the implication be of running narrows and wides on a exclusive model, do I need spacers?

2. Chances are Ill have to replace the back tyres upon swop, what more or less will 2 RFT's set me back?

3. Should i do it???

255 17's for the rears on runflat, is around R4000 per tire. the 225's for the front is around R2000 per tire.

you wont really need spacers

So its R8000 for 2 rear tires? :blab:

Im sure I saw a set of 17's on the Gum go for R8000 including RFT's with 70% life left... Makes me think, I can probably get R2000 - R3000 for my current rims with tires, dunno if the swop is worth it... :yuck:

yes, the 255 RFT's is still pricey. You might get cheaper if you shop around.

Yes you can probably get a set on gum for R8K with decent tires. Just keep in mind you will need to replace those rears at some point, unless you go with normal tires. So a good idea is as you say, save now, and keep some cash saved up for when the time comes.

If you going to buy second hand, just check the wheels for buckles etc.

Oh and take it from my experience, its not easy to sell a set of 360's. Eventually sold mine for R1800 with tires still on about 60% life left.

Hi guys,

I'm considering getting the 17 inch E90 Motorsport rims for my E90 Standard 320i (Pre LCI).
Do you think it will look decent?
I don't have the sports suspension and have standard bumpers and side skirts.

Currently have the standard 16 inch ones which I don't like too much...

opinions will be appreciated.:ty:
Personally I hate this specific Motorsport wheel. I prefer the Style 193 Motorsport wheel and of course it's 18".
In my opinion 18" tyres are not that much more expensive than 17".

I don't see what the big deal is if you put Motorsport wheel on a Non Motorsport package. It's just that litte ///M badge on it.
I had a choice between the style 193s and Ellipsoids for my E46. I just preferred the look of the Ellipsoids. Not because it's a non Motorsport wheel.

Just y opinion:thumbs:
