Maybe others can chime in with the part numbers for other heat ranges. It was cheaper from the dealer than buying NGK equivalents from parts or performance shops (Deago FTW)
The part numbers online seem to be different in different markets.
If you are stock then there is no benefit from changing IMHO. Tuned cars making significantly more power need it. @"NBN" posted a link which gives you an idea of why it is done and when to do it (ie you're making 100hp+ more)
However the stock n54 plug is a 3 prong design which cannot be gapped. With much higher boost the spark is blown out, causing mis-fire.
The reason for change over to the NGK single prong design is that you are able to gap the plugs to prevent the spark blowing out.
BMS does mention that the life span of the colder plug is shorter, but that's a trade off we accept, rather than having a misfiring engine.
