Don't know why these companies all call these 'leaked' pics when they are promo shots. Same happens when slides from Intel/Nvidia/AMD get 'leaked'... PR is PR

Hmmmm, it says ‘weight optimized bi-turbo’, as in singular or twin scroll? Surely if it had two turbos they would have said so? So N55? Although I can be interpreting it wrong. Competition packs in general get tweaks with existing hardware, not a new engine?

Was thinking this as well, If it's 2 turbos it's definitely a new engine.
No engine currently has 2 turbo's except the 760li and I doubt they using that one :roflol:

M3 m4 engine is twin turbo

M5 f10 and f90, and m6 engine is twin turbo

X5m x6m is twin turbo

Its a de-tuned S55 from what I have read (there was a post on the Top Gear site):thumbs:

This is going to be a proper m car (e46 m3 characteristics one can hope)

Where is this pricing from? This is basically what a current M2 costs anyway... If they price it like that those 2016-2017 M2s will sink in value like stones...

Wow, it's only R30k more... A 3% hike in price for a substantially better engine... Current M2s aren't gonna be worth much I'd venture!

That’s going to be a proper M car. Bootmod 3 will give 350kw with 650nm. On that small dynamic body, very little will compare performance wise, south of 3 mil.
