So this will be the new kid on the block by May 2010.

The new engine has a single turbo and apparently it will be unhackable due to new software and the location of the turbo setup...Ya right...we heard this before.

remeber guys it doesnt mean if it has 1 turbo its slower hav another look at that snail, it is certainly bigger than both of ours.

@ Twinz how do you think a chipped N54 with decat n dp's vs a chipped N55 with decat n dp's from the line to about 250km/h

It would be an interesting run...but silversurfer might be right...a bigger snail that is chipped can certainly hold say 35% more boost?...wishing here :thinker:

...but dont worry the biturbo's will prevail. 2 bigger turbo's will always be better than 1 bigger turbo. after motorplan that is.:shocked:

Its a very interesting motor. I think the N55 is a better platform to mod due to the single turbo which is a Garett. How do you guys like the electronic dump valve that sits on the turbo? That will also be the waistegate vacum controller by the looks of things. Exciting times but in my books better the devil you know.
