So as per my build I am busy with the steering setup and her again I am stuck.

I went for solid guibo on the steering which I bought from eBay and as with all stuff from eBay

Fist off I had issues with the holes on the column being to small and in the process burning 2 expensive bits

What I require is for 2 of the 4 bots to be countersank

This is the issue at the moment

So basically I need the head of the screw sitting flush with the surface and f the guibo

Please let me know if anyone can assist me I don't mind paying for this to be done either

Thanks

Why not just drill a hole big enough for them to fit? You could do that yourself.

I keep burning bits and the same will most probably happen here

Hey Captain,

My recommendation - take it off and have the holes countersunk. Get yourself a nice countersink bit, and drill it real slow to avoid burning the tips.

Acquire two new cuntersunk bolts, and presto - you are fitted up.

if you have a bench drill it's very easy as the above posters mentioned.... if you have a decent hand drill with proper speed control on it... still easy. you can also use paraffin as a cutting oil.. nice and cheap
but if you're drill don't have speed control don't even waist you're money buying a countersink drill bit... Rather take it to any engineering shop to quickly drill the two holes for you... will most probably be able to do it while you wait and I'm certain it won't cost very much
