The bottom starter is actually for the Opel's, The long one for the beemers.

My Opel is running on a BMW starter( the longer one ) currently.

Bought the car like that back in 2002 still has that same starter.

The turbo manifold is half built and bolted to turbo on the picture..by end of this week it should be completed with waste gates on..then the exhaust..still deciding on what will work best from downpipe onwards..

550whp on pump gas around 1bar and 800whp on ethanol ..any thing more will be a plus any thing less I will have to sell car and buy a gtr..

Are you locking the vanos or will you run a management system with vanos control?

If you running vanos I would try and insert a heat plate barrier between the turbo housing and the solenoid housing on the vanos unit.
Just a thought.

I am going to run a management system so will retain vanos..this is just a test fit and will definitely need a heat plate..we made a two piece manifold to make space at center for downpipe so it's a bit close to vanos the turbo is also long
