My VG-96 320d

This is the tale of my 320d. In August 2007, after being gatvol of Audi technicians unable to locate the root of some issues i was having with my 04 A3 2.0 TDi, I started looking around for a suitable replacement.

Always wanting a White E90 Sportpack - went off to a few dealers, and eventually settled on a really good deal at Leo Haese Centurion. Order was placed in September 07, with the following specs:

Alpine White III E90 M-Sport 320d
VG96 (130kW 350Nm).
6MT.
Dakota Leather (Black).
17" Sportpack Wheels.

Options:
Glass Sunroof.
Xenon Headlights, with adaptive lighting.
Auto lights & rain sensor.
Driver and Passenger Seat Heating.
Anti-Dazzle rearview mirror.
Hi-Fi Loudspeaker package.

So then the dealer pushed the order through, and after a horrible 8 week wait, this is what arrived for my Sheer Driving Pleasure (pun intended).

so far, the 2 years of owning Kat, has been fun. Have not done too much to her, but started with the folllowing:

added 35% S&G in Jan 08, then had it changed to 50% last month.
around Feb/March 08, I had Carbon Fibre Eyelids, and Front Grille fitted.
last major change, saw a set of OEM E90 M-Sport 18" wheels being murdered, and wrapped in 225/40 and 255/35 Pirelli P-Zero RFT's, the result being:

still have a few minor mods in store for her, but between my house, and project car thats being rebuilt, its taking a while.

I did purchase a set of CF Roundels, and tried on the front for a bit, but the blue on the numberplate sorta killed the whole effect i was aiming for, so fitted the blue ones back. Considered getting a set of plates made up in Black, but being illegal, and not wanting to swap plates all the time, decided to just leave it as is for now...

What do you guys think?

thanks ;-) yeah - even those Limpopo plates would work well, or WP plates. Should maybe move to CT. lol

If I where ever to jump ship and move to the e90 stable, it would definitely HAVE to be a white one :)

thanks :) theres still just a few minor visual mods i wanna do to finish it off - just some little things that bug me - so once thats done and i get me a decent service advisor, i'd start with some performance mods. Its a 4 pot diesel, so there won't be too much to expect performance wise.

to drive one is 1 thing... to live with one is a whole new story all together imo. But then again it all depends on what u like i guess. i found the AT to be dummererer than dumb, closest thing to an auto i would drive would be an MDCT :)
u made a great choice!

word has that the new steps are far better tho...^

Liv, great looking. Where did you purchase the eye lids from. Are the rims in darker gray color. Is the front grid black

Thanks Joro. Eyelids and Grille I got from the US last year. They're both Carbon Fibre.

Wheel colour can best be described as Anthracite. its a dark metallic brownish/grey if that makes sense. cant really see the colour clearly in the pics.
