The diff that came out of my car, and the replacement:
the tag on the diff that I took out of my car:
So as you might have guessed from these pics, the diff is already fitted, did it today :rollsmile:
And I have to say it has made quite a difference, not a rocketship type of difference, but the in gear acceleration is frikken awesome :grin:

Yeah that statement might be a bit dumb, what I meant is the acceleration from one speed to another (the is higher that the first) while keeping the car in the same gear is fairly brisk.
The you just need to figure out where I posted the pics :rollsmile:
once you get used to the ratio you will get more out of it :rollsmile:
Did u feel a noticeable difference, especially in torque? thinking about also going the 3.38 route. Think 3.46 may be a bit short

Yup most definitely, does not make such big difference with 0 - 100 times, as you are changing gear one extra time, but in terms of going to higher speed it makes a difference, or at least that is what the butt dyno tells me :grin: The biggest difference is the acceleration while staying the the same gear, feels really strong.
One thing I should say it I would be good idea to do this along with a 6 speed box upgrade, else your cruising RPM will be too high, but that is just my opinion.
And I would say that 3.46 would be too short, if the car is daily.
One other thing I have noticed is I can now hear my car's overrun in 2nd and a little bit in 3rd as well :rollsmile: (Note this is still the stock exhaust with all the cats :grin: )

100kph is just a number... just because its slower to 100 does not mean anything...
It will be faster who cares what the 0-100 time is no one races to 100...
3.46 will be fine for a 5 speed there is only a 2.5% difference between 3.46 and 3.38 i would just get what you can find...
