From what I have read its a case of there being an alignment jibby jobby on the left tower that gets in the way as there is no slot for it on the brace. But one can just drill a slot for it in the correct position. If one could still buy one on the special deal it would be a great buy. Just shipping will probably be about R1500.

arnt the towers are the same on the M3 its the suspension linkages and the subframe that make it wider...

Cool, think it might still be possible to get the brace at the special deal, probably not as cheap as they were a year or so ago, but I don't think they are going for the before price of around $1k, so it might sill be worth. Would still check with the dealers first even if they have to bring it in if the price is not that much more than getting it yourself the dealers are the safer option.

@moranor: I am not too clued about that stuff, so that might be right.

Interesting pics, the lighting is giving you a mild "Arizona Sun" effect.

You not considering getting the longer number plate in front to fill in the spaces on the tray?

I have suggested this to the brothers for both the cars for a while now... They struggleing to get hold of long plastic ones.. all you can get now days is the metal ones :(

Yup it is unfortunately as andrew said, but I am looking at a different tray to clean up the look, but there are so many other things that I want to spend money on the numberplate is kinda taking a back seat at the moment along with some other things :)

oh damn forgot about that... i dont think i can get GP plates... i could get you kzn plates with the right numbers on, but i dont think that would be legal...

i would try small backwater towns in GP they will most lightly still be making old plates :fencelook:

Yeah that is the idea, I've tried a few places where you just ask "what is it going to cost me to get long plastic plates?" and the usually they think about it and then its like sorry we "can't" make them anymore.

You really need the stretch number plates, if not, some Velcro for when you taking pics... Otherwise, nice pics!
