Thanks man. ill contact them,

I can get a 2nd hand m3 diff for 14k, and it will require some extra modifications which in turn will cost more money,so i might as well give them a call and hear what they say.
That's why forums like these add a lot of value as it opens up different avenues to solving problems.:clapper:

i really like this build, nice one:clapper:
im always one for something different, and love japanese cars and engines, so this just works imo, also like you mentioned its a good platform for such a stonking engine:rollsmile:

now this makes me want a 2jz e92 325i coupe..... maybe some day....

good luck, interested to see what you do with the diff,

hows does the car drive currents, is the engine much heavier then the 3.0D?
gauges and everything work?aircon, traction control, creature comforts etc?

a e92 coupe will be such a nice care to do this to damn....

With regards to the electronics etc, everything works, sunroof, abs, pdc, aircon, it even still uses the engine start stop button. BUT, the traction control definitely doesn't work:rollsmile: as well as the cruise control also, as it electronically controlled the throttle on the diesel engine which it cant do on the 2j.

Haters will hate i suppose Redshert, but yes i have been waiting a long time for something like this to come my way.

I hear what you say about making a ton of power, but that combination will never work.....(note its miles per hour :skit:)

as to m3 diff

not the Diesel diff but one out of an e90 petrol these will not be as short as the M diff but the autos are close

the Diesel diff wont work at looking at those calculations

I think the M diff will probably be too short when you make big power?

Learned myself something, Where there is smoke there is a diesel :fencelook:

Keep the badge but make sure you produce smoke from the exhaust (not the tires) convince the petrol heads out there it's a diesel

I really really like this!!!

My dream would be an E30 Coupe with a 2JZ GTE and the complete sleeper look!

I say leave the 330d badge  and do the dual exhausts, that'd be cool. And we'll also be needing a sound clip of this beast!
