The Boot spoiler is an OEM BMW spoiler that were not available as an option in SA when a car was purchased those days, as far as I have been told. But it could be ordered through the dealership.

I really got lucky with this spoiler as it is really is a scarce item and I really feel that it transforms the image of the car...well, any hatchback needs a spoiler..Period.

Now with regards to the M Badge... I honestly bought the car with it and I was informed that because this car has the M Sports package (P337), M Sports suspension (S704), M leather steering wheel (S710) and M Aerodynamics package (S715), it is the reason for the M Badge on the boot... Much like the Audi S-Line packages that has the S-Line badge direct from the factory, I also assumed that BMW placed the badge there since it is not a Genuine M with 1 digit, but rather a normal car with the Motor Sport packages added as options and thus automatically get the M Badge to compliment or show of the options packs selected.

I did not put it there, but because I bought it like that it really did not bother me at all as I know that I did not want to impersonate something I am not... or rather my car. This also is my first ever owned BMW so my knowledge is is very limited about the brand and options etc.

Anyway, No offence taken... To each their own. I enjoy this car extremely, but because I lift at altitude here in the north, I am in desperate need of a Turbo. Currently I am feeding the ponies their fuel, but they stayed behind at the coast when I collected the car....Thus not 190kw anymore.. not by a long shot.

I have been searching for months to find a set of Style 128 wheels in 19x9J ET51 or 19x8,5J ET46 from the X3 E83or Style 437M Replica wheels in Gun Metal 18x8J or 8.5J... but like all replicas, they are almost all ET35 to ET37 offsets and thus will poke out too much.

It is 18'' M Spoke Style 208 Wheels, although according to the VIN Check, my car was originally ordered with 17'' M Spoke Style 207 wheels.
