Looking at these pics of the car again, it brings back memories of college back in the mid 90's.

A good friend bought himself one. Same colour, same 323i, but only difference is that this one was manual.

We called the car "Anna".

Quite fitting at that time, because the car needed a lot of work.

He was Afrikaans, so this explanation only works in Afrikaans.

Toe hy die kar gekry het, toe kort die kar Anna (ander) bande, Anna sitplekke, Anna suspension ens ens.

Toe noem ons haar maar Anna.

Found them by chance really as I wasn't looking and I had to take them cos I knew they'd be difficult to find. I don't think I'll be selling bro, but you have dibs if I decide otherwise.

Style 5s are difficult to find.

Adapters are safe if you don't track or spin.

I've been using the e30 daily for the last month. I must say I am enjoying it and am learning a lot about this little box. She's definitely not fast but the engine responds well and the feedback while driving is excellent. She's also not perfect but I find I enjoy the driving experience.

There's still a long way to go before she gets to where I want. That's the fun of owning her, there's always something that I can fix or improve.

This car has been treating me very well and I'm so impressed by it that I use it every chance I get. I have done about 15000km in the last 12 months, which says a lot because we have 3 other cars. The fuel consumption is horrible but who cares :blab:

Everything works :chef: except the aircon and hooter :fencelook: Also haven't had the funds or time to do all the preventative maintenance I wanted due to other commitments, so just stuck to oil change every 5000km. However, I have managed to collect most of the parts that I need to get it to the condition that I want and our storeroom has a shelf dedicated to these parts :hammerhead: Now I need to make time before the Mrs starts complaining.

Photoshoot a few months ago

A wheel change is one of the outstanding things to be done. Haven't done this because of positive camber in the rear, which I will need a camber kit for or a complete rear suspension change - still undecided here.
