Hard to see the wear on them but they were quite soft.
The stabiliser swing support on the left also needed to be replaced
The Leading Control arms nicely cleaned as per Axis norm
Cleaned wheel arch.., i like
New Leading bushes fitted, after Peter added some new swear words to the greek language.
All done fitted and clean
Upon stripping Peter also noticed the Trailing arms were worn and as quickly as possible a replacement set of Meyle complete arms were sourced. Since there was alot of downtime and time wasted waiting for parts there was less time for pictures of those parts and fitting.
Just had the alignment done this morning and all is good, feeling more in tune with what the car is doing. Previously i found myself constantly correcting the car especially on the freeway(100km/h +) and am glad that is now gone. The powerflex bushes are indeed stiffer than standard, which can be felt on the urban roads(bad ones) which Peter made me fully aware of :fencelook: , but I think it is acceptable given that the car already has a sport suspension and the difference is not as much compared to a non-msport E60. I have not had the chance to throw the car into the corners as yet as my 3yr old insisted on driving back with me when i picked up the car as well as its been a hectic weekend.
Will be doing a trip to KZN this week, so really looking forward to that.
The issues with parts and pressing out of bushes saw Peter driving around to view and collect parts including a missing lock nut :flyfun: and Sean arranging almost same day delivery of parts once they were in his hands( lets not mention SA Customs delays)

A big thank you and appreciation to Sean, Peter and Alex for all the time and effort put in to fit me in during this time of the year with the difficult to get E60 parts before my trip to KZN.
