Thanks guys..., life has been so hectic, i actually feel like i have been neglecting the car, have only done 12000km since jan last year.

Will be doing some suspension work in the near future, just concluded the transaction with Sean @ Moranor.

Will be giving it a wash this weekend (weather permitting) and hope to get some pics.

When Stiaan got his 2008 530d a few months back i removed the swirl flaps and blanked the holes left by the swirl flaps for him. I would certainly remove the swirl flaps on a diesel if it was my car (have done it to mine shortly after i got my 2006 530d), so would strongly suggest you do it too. Can never be too careful on one of these motors. Just my 2c's

Would love to. When are you planning to come this way? Remember, i am in Hermanus, about 120kms from Cape Town!! Else, ask Gizmo to do it for you as i understand he has converted to diesel now! Also time for him to get to know the swirlies as i assume he would also like to remove them from his wife's car as well as all his customers with diesels with swirl flaps. :=):

Sash your car is awesome. The sound, the looks everything works together. It must pull like a beast, my dads one was exactly like yours except his was a 525i (which in my opinion was alright for cruising nothing else haha). Congrats on the car and man I'm really loving it. The sound is amazing best sounding diesel vehicle in my opinion.

I managed to get the washed yesterday, although i finished up late and couldnt get the pics I wanted. I was hoping to go to a specific spot just alas I ended doing a mini detail on my daily which took up the better part of the day.

Some of the cell pics i did take.... I will get some better ones hopefully this week.

All foamed up using carchem foam wash

let it dwell for a bit before pressure washing off. I then washed the wheels first using my various brushes and carchem car wash in a bottle with a foam action trigger. the car was washed with Meguairs Crystal wash using a 2 bucket method and pressure rinsed again.

Car was dried with the waffle weave microfiber and then i decided to try out something i purchased some time ago and never got a chance to use and then i forgot i had it.... The smell is divine and the car actually takes on this smell, as for the gloss, it ensured no streaks but due to the lack of light it was hard to make a comparison.

All dried but it was already getting dark and i had to rush to get back inside to sort out the kids sorted.

I also decided on a toy, but man this car is so hot.
Would love to own a z4 roadster, keep the current two, and have your E60 too.

I'm being greedy LOL

Things to come ......

I always clean my wheels before fitment, this included clay, polish and wax. I love it when the inner part of the rim is as clean as the face.... OCD tendencies
