Awesome stuff, loving whats done so far. Keep it up :coolShake:

Thanks Rayzor.
I want to keep the looks / interior as OEM as possible but just a few touches here and there to give it the edge.

Let me know where you getting the door handle from. I also need to do mine :smashScreen:

I am more than ecstatic with the detailing performed by VPS Randburg. A big thank you to Lavan and his team :ty::ty::ty::ty:

The 3 areas that impressed me the most are the roof lining - it was marked before but now looks brand new.
The steering wheel - it was shiny and hard to the touch, now its supple and soft.
The dash, it has levelled up on brightness and freshens up the interior beautifully.

Everyone who has seen the car after detailing cannot believe the year model or mileage!

Now on to more areas that need maintenance.
If anyone has any idea howto to repair the following, please let me know

Sunroof - I hope it is not too late to save the rubber / trim :YesNo:

I was thinking of just joining the rear windscreen rubber seal with some black silicone :YesNo: ?

And for my final trick, my refurbed steering wheel trim

Before

The left side by the radio controls irritated me the most. The steering was wrapped in vinyl, but the job was not that great and it had to go.
Also, I hate youtube DIY guides, the reason is that they are not DIY-ers but professionals! I really struggled to get the trim off and have a new found respect for people who DIY. It is one thing reading and understanding howto do something but a completely different beast when you try it for yourself.

I sanded down the trim and used a 2 in 1 Rust-Oleum paint flat back sourced from Builders. I also sanded with 600 grit water paper.

After sanding

After final coat - 5 coats in total

I can still see the lines where the old material has not come of yet so I am not 100% happy with this and may have to redo in the future. However It is 1000 x better than the shiny pimped out vinyl that was on before. All in all I am happy i did this!

Shiny new discs with old dirty wheel

I must say that this mechanical DIY was easier than all of the cosmetic DIY's I have done thus far (installing the BT mic, removing the steering trim, replacing the door grab handle).
The one thing that I could not get right is adjusting the handbrake. I found the star wheel and kept on turning it but it refused to lock the wheels. I will investigate further when I replace the rear discs.

Got my climate control decals from the US of A today. Shipped them through aramex global shopper at a cost of R175. Planning to fit the fan decal on this weekend.
