My 2009 BMW E90 320D

Hi Guys,

Bought myself this 2 weeks ago :crazylaugh:

It's a 2009 E90 320D Msport, got the full AC Schnitzer kit on which I'm not really fond of but got the car for a good deal. That bootspoiler and exhaust tip does not do it for me, although the tip is growing on me.. Would like a 335 exhuast conversion if it's possible.

Car is auto, fitted with Xenons, Bluetooth and IDrive. Dealer removed all scratches and dents, fitted brand new tyres as well and redid the steering wheel at their cost.

I did not have a good start with the car, first night the gearbox packed up, clutch and bearing failed apparently. Dealer fixing at their expense through ZF. R25k damage!! Eish..

Getting the car back today!!

The bit I did drove the car, I loved it!!

Don't have much plans for her either than fitting white angel eyes, removing the bootspoiler and replacing it with a smaller carbon one, maybe doing the exhaust conversion if possible and making it IPod compatible.. will see on some other stuff later.

Thanks for looking :coolShake:

Congrats... she is stunning, wishing you miles of smiles... :clapper:

Agreed, the BS and that tailpipe has to go... speak to Arbee on the forums he did a 335 look exhaust on his 330d.. and it looked awesome!

More tractors - since I drive one - I see tractors everywhere... 335 rear setup will look cool, I dig mine big time especially since Arbee made sure the zorsts are bigger than normal.

You are gonna love the D!!
Absolutely love the diesel BMW's!

Congratz and happy driving!!

Thanks Guys. Appreciate the warm welcome on this forum.

I had a 2013 Jetta 2.0tdi before this and I absolutely love the BMW compared to the Jetta. Don't get me wrong, the Jetta is a awesome car and a lot of car for the money, but the BMW is just that few steps ahead.

I drove really a lot this weekend with her, and just all smiles everywhere :crazylaugh:

TBH that wing is growing on me. Thinking maybe leave it for now and do 335 conversion first.

What's your guys average consumption? I really did a proper combined cycle and drove moderately, got an average of 8.7lt/100km even with 4 20km highway runs? I know it an auto but seems a bit high?

I think that is a tad bit high for a 320d..I get around 7.6l/100km and mine is 330d..and I nail it at every oppertunity I get..

Welcome and congrats on the new car. :coolShake:

Consumption is a bit high compared to mine, but I have a manual so can't really compare. Check tyre pressures, and for blocked/dirty filters as either would negatively effect the consumption.

Reset the consumption and check it over a 200km period. My car is tuned and I'm getting 6.5l/100km, although there's a fair amount of highway cruising.

Thanks Guys.. The onboard computer says the car is due for a service in 4000km... Now that on 100000km.. Tell me what can I expect with a 100k km service? I also thought its alot unless its inaccurate. Was actually a bit dissapointed.

Done that.. Drove about 100km since if I guess.. 8.7 its standing on.. Range still shows I will get 800km on a tank but I have no idea if its good or bad. Dont even know how big the tank is
