Hehe, I just want to divert attention back to the subtitle this post is under on the Mazda Forum; Nonsense room
Point 1: Are these guys still on Mxit? Cant they afford BB's that they "chatting" in "rooms"? LMAO  (disclaimer; the views in this statement are in no way a reflection on BMWfanatics, BMW brand orr in any way attributed to the FACT that BMW is a fantastic car, nor is it an attack on the financial background of Mazda owners) Lol
Point 2: That is utter Nonsense that they are speaking!

Respect to you Sabre Tooth, I couldn't have worded it better myself.

This is a big problem on all the forums, people just happen to think their cars are the best, almost as if the brand of car they are so loyal too actually puts the food on their table and pays the bond on their house.

But they like started it!

On a more serious note, why are people being so serious? People are making fun. Every now and then I hear something that's really mean and personal about BMW's and their drivers and which would be taken the wrong way by most. I can't recall anyone on this forum ever getting personal about the drivers of other car brands.

lol...
the guys story with his two 528i is very sad... i can see why he hates bmw...

looks like the forums down because we all viewing it

here is Mrmazdas story:

So I did the yuppie thing and bought a 528i against my dad's advice to buy a Merc.

Firstly they had only auto's in stock so after a huge fight gave it to me a manual price.

A few days later while filling it with petrol, neither the petrol attendant or I could get the bonnet opened to check fluid levels. Back to BMW. Took it into the workshop and came back after a few minutes with the news that they can't open it iether! So they gave me a loan car & promised to deliver it to me once sorted. Car arraived at my office the next day with scratches on the bonnet. So obviously my toys went flying all over the show. They then fetched it again and had the bonnet repaired and actually did a good job.

About six months later I was at a client in Ellisras when my wife phoned to tell me that my son was very ill and was being admitted to hospital in Alberton. So I obviously left what I was busy with jumped into the car and put foot. 15 Km out of Ellisras the dashboard lit up what looked like a Xmas tree. Gearbox & engine lights came on. The G/box went into limp mode & engine revs limited to +- 2500. This was at 6500km. So I turned back and limped back. Borrowed client's car and came back home. Arriving at the hospital the little lad was in theatre with severe allergy reaction, blocked chest etc.

In any event the next day I went to BMW. They then informed me that they will fetch the car, but only to the nearest dealer (Pietersburg). After a hell of a fight I borrowed a car trailer from my favourite Mazda dealer took dad's B2000 and fetched the piece of crap.

They then replaced a hell of a lot of stuff including the oil cooler, radiator, did head overhaul since the thing overheated.

After that all was ok until about 8000 km when the g/box played up again. It turned out that a head gasket had blown and engine & G/box overheated. They replaced the G/box and repaired the engine again. By now I was demanding a new car. Just after 13000km the fricking thing played up again and after huge fights with the dealer, BMW SA & Germany they replaced it. I paid a small amount into the deal to get followings years manual model.

To cut a very long sad story short the second one was ok until it reached 18000 km. Towing my boat that I towed with a 1600 Meteor before it started jumping out of gear.
They removed the g/box and adjusted some internal levers and replaced all the rubbers on the linkages etc. Shortly afterwards this car burnt valves. They then said it was running to lean and replaced a heck of a lot of spares again.

At about 26 000 km it blew a head gasket and my fight began again. I eventually put it on a trailer with extremely nasty stickers on the windows and parked it outside BMW's factory in Pta. They eventually agreed to replace both engine & G/box, but was not prepared to trade it back on another one.

My favourite Mazda dealer settled the lease, using the discount on a new 626 to achieve this and arranged finance on the 626 at full retail price.

So can I be blamed for hating the crap? I don't think so. One Mazda is better tha 40 BMWs!

Is this a bunch of MEN? Because if I hadn't read the page title I would have thought I'd stumbled on a PMT forum or something.

Sheesh

I owned a Mazda once, got it new....Only car I ever owned that would not go in a straight line with the correct wheel alignment. I would have to jibe and tack to go down the highway.

Really Zoom Zoom fun that was..... ja...nee

I will admit it was quite "safe"..... Only the entire driver seat with me attached to it, seatbelt and all went through the windscreen when I hit that Audi........ the 45kg passenger was just fine...... STUNNINGLY engineered cars.

LUVERLY cars I have such "fond" memories. it's actually the reason I bought a BMW because the drivers seat is actually bolted to the floor with real bolts.
