More BMW hating

Well Ja, I can understand that, when somebody stole the built in car phone at Auto Atlantic in my E38, the workshop foreman called me a liar..... Nice attitude.

That got me on to the blower to BMW HO at the speed of light, and my mouth did not stop moving till he appologised.

Whatever, the cars are still freaking A++

Reminds me of years ago the one and only time I tried to wheelspin my 325Is, busy intersection people egging me on, rev it up drop the clutch to discover said clutch is actually not so good anymore, it slips and grabs and slips.

Instead of an awesome powerslide with black stripes and smoke the car goes hopping through the intersection like a horney kangaroo with the engine coughing.... Most embarassing day of my life.

I don't try that stuff anymore.

Mr mazda says that he traded the 528i on a 626. According to his sig, the newest 626 he has owned is a 1991 model the oldest being an 1983 model, which leads me to ask the question, which 528i is he talking about? e28 or e39? Or did he even have a 528i to begin with?

To be honest, i find two BMW's built more than a year apart suffering from identical faliures very very hard to believe.....

See the thing that everyone seems to have missed, is that the turn look nothing like a BMW it doesn't have nearly enough broken plastic clips in it to possibly be anything like a BMW.

You have that right lol BMW are king of plastic clips, I keep a full stock in my garage as part of daily life.

The ones where the pin has no head and it then proceeds to disappear into the rivet itself, application of a mild force with a screwdriver then turns in into a snapping one.

I am sure it won't be long before BMW start using those to fit things, so that they have to remove as little parts as possible, nothing is just replaceable, what you expansion tank went? Sorry to hear that sir, but we will need to replace the whole engine to replace it, what riveted on you see.
