Minor oil leaks 316i

Heres the thing.

Ive had the car for a while now and there has been a bit of oil leaking around a few of the gaskets, not so much though... Ive only had to top up the oil once in the last year and a half?:;^^:

Would you recommend replacing all of the gaskets? Or any other recommendations?

Yea, replace it now before it starts leaking more oil. Quite cheap to do and will save you some money on oil. Actually about to do mine now :rollsmile:

one top up in 18 months is not bad . if you use R300 oil extra a year - say a pint a month then the cost of a complete top gasket set may not be too much .If you do the job yourself make allowance to strip , clean ( thats important !!! ) and reassemble .Maybe a clean with something like clean green etc then you can see where oil is leaking and only need to replace the problem gasket .
