IF the crank pulley is detachable form the damper, it should be ok, however, if the damper is dumped you will snap the crank eventually.

s62 engine have hydraulic lifters, hence the 7000rpm limit. Don't go over that!!!:nono: unless you plan on converting to solid lifters + matching cams

What has been done:
Eisenmann Race Exhaust & K&N filters, Evosport Pulleys fitted, decatted the primary section of the exhaust, remapping, raised the rev-limiter to 8500rpm, removed the road speed governor. Raised the torque limiters & optimised the fuelling, timing & VANOS parameters.
The total gain on the wheels was 40kw (54hp) & 53NM. And the total gain on the engine was 62kw (84hp).
What can I say the guys at Xcede know what they are doing. Thanks Sherwin

you will need to keep an eye on the conrod bearings with the rev limiter raised. Do you know if rod bearings have been replaced before? what kilos on the car?

Hi Mamba, this is a V10 M5 so it's not affected by the conrod bearing issues that plagued the E39 M5.
