M5 stolen from BMW

Anybody hear about this?

BMW Northcliff were offloading off the truck, before cars hit the floor 2 335i's pull up and take the M5, owner chased with X5M, 335i's blocked him let the M5 go, then they spilt up on highway and dissapeared.

anyone got news on this?

this is very weird, because when bmw is delivered, most of the car features are disabled. You cant rev the car past 3k and the speed is limited as well:thumbs:. So someone who is able to activate all these features can steal this car. So the question you must ask, how many people are able to activate this? From my knowledge only the dealers have tools to code the car.......:fencelook:

Also, when the the thieves inevitabley write it off, there will just be some happy scrap yard hunters and hopefully decided criminals :fencelook:

this is more common than you think.
My buddy works across from an Audi dealership and saw this happen to the truck off loading, two S5's stolen.

They had to give a statement to the cops.

This kinda stuff happens all the time. You should see the rate at which cars are stolen off of car carriers. Im helping with a project to make them trackable. Must have been rather jarring speeding off with the shock spring retainers still in place.
