Crash...no man...Cabrio's even tuned once are slow not a good comparison there...nether sure if the K04 was a race...it should have taken you down from the launch...just my thoughts.

Cant see Jezebel without a tune standing up against a K04 neither a tuned Jb4 335... Not gonna happen

Ok... I drive a e36 M3 3.2 stock except for a decat and k&n airfilter. I ran a 335i cabrio on the highway that was most probably stock and he couldn’t pass me. I was cruising at 120km/h he drove up my rear bumper looking for a race as I was in the middle lane and he could have passed on the right. I dropped from 6th to 4th and hit the loud pedal and instantly pulled a car and a half on him, into 5th and he managed to close half a car, @around 230 or so the //M starts slowly creeping away from the 335 and it stayed like that until 240km/h when I had to tap off for my off-ramp.

I also ran a 135i auto with the upgraded exhaust from BMW @ ODI. I thought I was going to get broken! 1st gear his by my back door, 2nd gear his by my fender, by the end of 3rd gear there was a fender length between the cars over the quarter mile. I have video footage of the run.

What’s funny about the ///M is that it doesn’t feel as fast as it really is. The only time you realize how fast the car is, is when you open up a can of whip ass on modded hot hatches etc.

Lots of strong V8s down there that put up a good fight against modded X35s.

On top V8 is a different animal IMO especially at the coast.

Talking about my knowledge at the reef:
M cars automatically have that respect but the x35i cars at the reef are always giving the M's a hard time, and to the guys with e46 M3's.....I am sure you have been beaten by a modded GTI's, focus ST, golf R's and even from my Modded megane :rollsmile: and you have given many hot hatches hidings as well. At the end of the day you driving an M car:bravo:

M cars operate at the coast and they are boss! At the reef turbo's rule the roost......Sure NA cars can still hand out some hidings at the reef but respect must be given where its due....

This means you cab is running roughly 240kw and 390nm at the fly wheel (calculated here: http://www.maxauto.co.za/CntView.aspx?CatID=37&CntID=271). Your car stock when brand new was quoted at 236 kW (321 PS; 316 hp) 350 N·m (258 lb·ft) taken off wiki. That means your car of 14 years old makes more power than brand new. I would say that's very healthy almost impossible to believe, but you made the figures raise: a 135i stock is quoted at 225 kw and 400nm so based on your cars current power you should be taking them......or run close

I'm not so sure about that, once BMW went the FI route they tossed the concept of creating ponies from the normal atmospheric pressures and deserving respect for that. FI ponies depends on how much you willing to crank up the pressure, not much art in that. For reference I would rather buy a 335i and do mods than get the new FI M3, spend the difference in price on mods and create lots of green men in M3's :thumbs:

Dyno figures are for tuning mate , on the road we all know driver skills is what is needed. I had loads of fun in my ///M , just wanna experience that again. We run for fun dude not for this I won/lost stories.

Honestly I hardly even race the Diesel , my mates race it more than me. I look forward more to driving DVST8s Z3 M powered car , its just more fun.
