Hi All

so, Cois checked it out for me, everything checked out except for quick succession ownership changes in 2007.

Said could be fishy. I am seeing the car in about an hour so will keep you all posted. Going to query with the current owner and see what he says.

Other than that I have secured some cash so if I am happy, this could be an exciting weekend for me

Hold thumbs boys..... and the new lady :)

Here is what I Emailed him about what I found on the car...

Hi,
It’s a blue M3, 4 door model, 1998 model, and in 2011-02-14 already had 179k km’s on the clock.

Now the only thing fishy to me is this: Owner history only shows back to 2007, and then there was ownership change 4 times within a few months…

Now let me explain why this is fishy: Once a vehicle was in an accident that was serious, it gets scrapped. So what the guys do is the rebuilt it, get it roadworthy, but on the enatis it then shows code 3-rebuilt.

So while the roadworthy is valid, you change the ownership 4 times, and by the 5th time, it reverts back to a code 2-used vehicle status.

Now I am not saying this is what happened here, but why change it so many times between guys all in 2007, the dates 2007-02-02, then 2007-02-05, then 2007-03-06…. Fishy…

Hope the info helped you a bit.

Cheers.
