Looks well-specified.... you'll have to add Long Beach Metallic Blue, sunroof, nav, PDC and HK audio only

I'm on a tipping point between BSM or LLB. Frikken love the all black look but that blue really looks amazing in some of the photo's. Other than that I would spec HK, PDC and a Sunroof.
If you're second on the list for allocation, I doubt you'll get the chance to spec anything, leave alone choose the color as the first few cars will probably be pre-spec'd?

Correct, our 1st batch of cars will already be spec'd and people will be forced to take whatever has already arrived if they wish to get one immediately.

Well I don't mind taking an already pre-spec'd model if i can depending on whether it will take much longer just to wait for a customised allocation or not.

I have until Monday morning to decide.

So far the votes are equal. Some say the DCT and some say the Manual. It's a tough choice. I have never driven a M-DCT. Although I have never driven an manual BMW.

And what's about keeping the car in the long run as a daily driver. I'm talking 6 + years ? Driving about an hour and a half in traffic everyday?

Got myself signed in now to this forum for the first time . I too am getting a manual M2

Forsdicks took my deposit in Jult 2015 . Gave me written confirmation that I will be first on list . But now the dealership had been taken over by new owners who don't want to hear honour the agreement

I have informed BMW SA. They put me in touch with the new owners . The new owners said they have a list already and I have to join the queue. They said they will ask BMWSA for an allocation for me , with no commitment.

Can the forum members advise .

You cant trust any dealer sadly, I was a bit late to the party because I was set on a M235i but then I just phoned around and got myself put on lists all over the country. Now its just a waiting game to see who can help me. Some dealerships such as my local one apparently are not even getting one.

I feel like a Manual M2 is the appropriate form to be a glorious successor to the BMW 1M Coupe, whereas a M-DCT M2 will seem more like a detuned baby M4.

I'd have the Manual, even if it is slower than the DCT and hope that BMW has yet again created the ultimate driving machine.

And I feel like you may mock me forever if I get the DCT hey Zound? Haha ;)
