Most current supercars are destroyed by 25 year old McLaren tech.

Whats your point?

Neither of these cars were meant to compete with the GTR.

No point really just an observation looking at the lap times and that Mac will cost you this countries GDP, and that Datsun with a 't' is still the performance car of the century.

Umm i drove the M2 recently and i really dont think that car has enough power, i obviously drove there in my M4 and when i climbed into the M2 i put my foot down and basically said "Is that it? is there a sport + button we arent pressing".

Maybe its quick but i felt no thrill.

Great vid!!

This comment is valuable though - was the M2 DCT as well as yours and is it possible that something was not quite right with the one which you drove? Maybe still below 2000kms or something which would restrict performance?

On a side note ... is the dumping noises heard in the video synthesised or actual sound and is it that prevalent in every day driving?

Okay the car was also DCT and only like 200km's on the clock but YOLO, it just felt like a fast M135i.
And im not sure if the dumping noises sound like that on the manuals? because it didnt make those noises for me and my m4 performance exhaust kinda over powers any turbo noises, which makes me thing an cold air intake is needed

Or Maybe it was jus the 45 kw power difference at play not to mention 85nm less torque than the M4 he felt.

Put the car in manual, select 4th gear (or above), slow down to about 2000rpm, mash the throttle for a second or two, let off and enjoy that dumping noise
