M135i Stock tips on M Performance Exhaust

Hi all, I got a quote for a mpe from my local dealership and the sales guy informed me that they had a couple of instances where the stock black chrome tips does not fit on the mpe.

Has anyone else had this problem or is it a sales gimmick? R5000 for 2 chrome tips are a bit steep.

Just bought some //M performance tips for a grand each.
Plenty avail in the aftermarket market...

They quoted me R12500 for the mpe excl fitment and tail pieces. Does all the dealers quote the same or is it worth phoning around for the best price?

I am pretty sure when I got the quite of 12.5k this was full MPE backbox with the tips...

I know the MPE is one of the best OEM mods to do! I al sure the tail pieces are the same slip ons as std ones?

Standard tips fit perfectly on the F20/22 MPE.

It's really a worthwhile upgrade so DO IT!

WoW thats a really decent quote, where did you get your quote if I may ask? :smilebounce:

The cheapest i got was circa R22000 so yes the dealers are all quoting their own prices.

The cheapest I got was R 11k from Springs excl tips and fitment.

Carbon tips: R8880
Chrome tips: R5400
Fitment: R1000

Apologies for bringing up another topic under your post but I just got the app and I'm still figuring things out here.

I own a 2013 m135i now and I'm looking to buy a second hand m performance exhaust. Does anyone have 1 for sale or can reffer me to someone who is selling?

Will definitely be more interactive on this forum, I already learnt so much just from reading a few threads.
