M135i Charge Pipe

Yesterday I fitted my JB4 and test drove it on map 1, no problems. Today decided to do some logs.

First pull step on the gas from about 2500rpm and bang, no boost. Drove it home and found cold side boost pipe broke on the c-clip connecting to the throttle body.

Did some research and seems like this is a common problem, even on stock boost.
Where can I source an aftermarket charge pipe?

Car is still under mp, but doubt they will pick up an aftermarket charge pipe if the car goes in for normal service.

What if the car goes in for a spark plug change or a fix that requires the engine cover to be removed and they see the upgraded charge pipe which is not the OEM spec, what do you think they will then do?

Rather replace the CP under MP with the OEM CP, then get an upgraded CP, then keep the OEM CP aside.

Agree, you already have a lot of parts to remove before sending for services.
