Good morning guys

I need help.
Im looking for charge pipe that connects from the intercooler to the manifold.
My car is a bmw e90 320d 2011.
agents price is too high. Finding it difficult to source and aftermarket one.

It is surprising but i also had to get a charge pipe for my car. 2013 F10 520d, the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler. Mine had a crack about 120mm long which i did not notice until i removed the pipe to fit new seals. Phoned BMW this morning and was quoted R4600 after discount!! I know of a F10 520d that is being broken up so called and got a very good condition pipe for R2k. Have fitted it just now. What worries me is what made the pipe to burst? I did put some petrol in the intercooler to clean it out but am still concerned about the burst pipe. The fittings at the intercooler were very clogged from old dust and oil/diesel. Will now keep an eye on the charge pipes for leaks, etc. I did try a place that supply spare parts and the guy Owen called me back about an hour ago about an aftermarket charge pipe for about R1950. 021 981 4718

Speak to @Danny2 from DSC Motorsport. He had a silicone one fabricated for my E90 IIRC (It was a few years ago). Worked out far cheaper than the agents and Danny's service alone makes it worth supporting him.

I actually was mistaken here. Danny actually had a set of SS charge pipes fabricated, I can't remember if it was done by Strada or someone else. Both pipes worked out cheaper than buying one OEM pipe from the agents after discount so that immediately rules out Strada :ROFLMAO: .

I'd suggest contacting TMSS to get this done, then no worries about cracking pipes ever.

Hi guys, reviving this thread as it seems I need to start looking at options for my charge pipes (both left and right).

Does anyone in the Cape Town area have knowledge of places where you can find custom made charge pipes?

I have read online on some other threads that silicon pipes are a big + for replacement and can be cheaper in the long run, others say steel pipes are much better. I dont want to turn my daily into a racing spec vehicle so silicon should be just fine.

Currently running the m47T2 engine.
