LED Angel Eye globes

Morning Mohammed,

Please tell me do you have a shop closer to PTA? My Pre-Lci E90, 330i 2005 one angel eye bulb went during last week and stealers wants to much, like R600 for one. I do have xenon lights on my car (not sure if that even matters for the angel eyes info but ya.

What is your working times seeing that I might need to take the 100 km to you to get the bulbs, I am really interested in the LED ones.

does your e90 have xenon lights or not ? they are quite simple to fit but i do them very often so i might be used to it. I do have for both xenon and non xenon LCI

2009 is pre lci .. by looks of the car in Naick's sig, looks like non xenon and no rings ...

I completely forgot to ask how much do you ask for the Angel eye bulbs and if you have normal and led , the prices on each and in which colour (if any) they are?

Morning, the bulbs for your application are Normal are R50 each they LED are R750 for the set and are white only

Howzit.... you read correct, let me explain, your angel eye globe, being a pre LCI, comes in a housing which screws on towards the lower end of the headlight. BMW will sell you the complete housing and globe inserted already where as i have the exact same globe (Phillips) but globe alone, no need to change the housing.
As for the LED version, this is a complete housing with LED mounted into the housing and cannot be removed, hope this clears it up for you.

I gonna have to replace the bulb, it's driving me nuts the ding every time I start up my car. I love the white of the led in the angel eyes and the way it lit' s up the angel eye. So I am interested in the Led ones but what I am afraid of as I was reading the DIY on this (seeing that I have normal oem ones in and want to change to led now, 2005 model E90 Pre-Lci) is that the Led ones can either work or not and might end up damaging my computer board due to voltage etc. Please I need to understand if it is guaranteed that it will work on my car and if it is a simple plug and play or is there modification needed. And that no error will display on the Navi display in my car.

Also thank you for the info regarding the bulb, didn't understand why you say R50 and the stealer (sorry dealer) wants over R500 for the same thing and PS they are bloody nuts if they think I want the whole thing, it's just a simple bulb.

And another thing how do I add the smiles cause I either get a link but not a smiley

No stress, yes they will work without any modifications, just remove old bulb with housing and replace with new bulb with housing, connect the plugs and it works, no error etc.

2009 is LCI. Most LCI's are non Xenon but you do get Xenon as you probably know. Not sure when LCI was launched, but mine is 09' LCI with Xenon's
