Hex update 32.1b was released recently. An small problem that some guys may have with the n54s, is after the firmware update your needles/tachometer may all be out of sync.

Very easy to rectify this...

Count on the right hand

Menu - 5

And left

Option - 3

This will bring it back to the metric system we use. If the left hand side menu is till out after this, then just rest the dials as well using

Menu - 1 right hand side
Option - 5 left hand side.

So it's

5/3 and 1/5.

Enjoy chaps.

Hi guys i would like some advice please. I currently have an N54 with DP's , DCi and a flash file. I'm thinking of switching to JB4 , would I need to flash the ECU back to stock or can I just install the JB4 on to the car?. Thanks in advance.

You would need to get the car back to stock for the jb to work.optimally with all its functions. Whatever file is on the car, you ask the company that loaded it to load the stock file.

Your second option, to use a jb4 and mhd as your backend flash. Mhd will allow you you to write a stock file onto your car and then load the appropriate jb4 back end flash onto the car.
