The cable can be into the car and he used with your android phone.

If you have I phone, then you will need the BT rev3 to connect.

You should not be thinking of a map 6 until extensive logs have been run on the car and your current issues sorted out.

Lastly...you should seriously consider replacing the stock charge pipe as has been said, as they prone to break even under stock boost. You can email us on [email protected] for a quote.

Cool thanks guys. Going to see who can help me in Durban to log the car. Then will take it from there.

Regarding map 6 and charge pipe, what would be a safe boost level should I have map 6 tuned for as I've heard the charge pipes break / pop off under extra boost.

So with an android phone I don't need the BT rev 3 and can just use the cable with it?

Would the disconnection of the battery when installing affect the car? As in the stock ecu needs to relearn and then jb4 trying to adapt at the same time? Should I run map 2 for a while and then try map 5 or it shouldn't make a difference.

Definitely want to make sure the car is fine before I tune map 6 if I do go that route.

Hey guys I have a question regarding jb4 and meth.

I have bootmod on the car and want to use jb to only control meth. The question is can I just plug in the obd connector and leave all the other plugs off to get meth to flow based on rpm.what plug do I need to plug in to get meth to flow based on boost?

Correct, for an android phone you only require the usb cable for the unit.

Disconneting the battery resets a few things, but won't cause any problems.

Heres the video on how to route the cable into the glove box.

If you need a usb cable, you can contact us.

Once done, run a few logs and then only can we see what wrong. 3rd gear, dsc 1 step off, revs at 3000rpm... floor it with 100 percent trottle making sure you dont hit the kick down switch, change gears at 6200rpm. If you have enough road ahead, carry on into 4th gear till 6200rpm as well. Do this for map 5 and then map 2.

Run a good racefuel like 24/7 racefuel 109 on map 2. It contains 15% ethanol and log the car then assess from there.

If boost, timing and AFRs are good then run a log on map 7

PWG and EWG are the same notes. As long as you flash PWG firmware on your car. PWG firmware are now at the same level as EWG.

EWG_6

1) Updated CANbus logging system for faster logging of all channels, including oil temp, water temp, trans temp, cyl 1-4 timing, etc.
2) Added load and calculated torque logging for future N20 back end flash map development.
3) Added startup gauge sweep when JB4 is on a map > 0 where wheel controls are not disabled.
4) T1 - Slowed down CANbus speed slightly due to reports of JB4 resetting CANbus (gauge sweep triggering during driving).
5) T5 - Added option FutureUseD bit#4 to disable startup sweep for those who don't like it.

Fuel Cap issues ! Biggest problem with the B58. Can get worse with DP as the spool up is faster.

Solution is WM or run at lower boost levels.

I had inconsistency issues on my M240 which is basically a B58 with MKKP.
