I reckon exposed turbo not hidden by engine covers is most likely simply because of heat issues - these things need air-flow when working harder, and as much as some of us love fire, sometimes not always the best plan to have flammable plastics too close to potentially red/white hot parts of the engine. :rollsmile:

there are materials that wont catch fire i know :rollsmile: they could cover it if they wanted to and still let air flow under it... my guess is they wanted everyone to see the turbo to make a statement...

I dont get that they cover up the whole engine with covers, but leave the turbo out in sight...
