- Your vehicle's licence plates are reflective of colonialist Western Cape, not East London.

I'm from EL and down there every few months.....
1. Funny how none of the cars in the pics have EC registrations.....incl the corsa lite(ning) in the background.
2. Was in and around the EL race scene (Legal and not so legal incl IDZ and race track straight as far back as the days of Team O2), ain't never seen an e30 with V10 swap there.
3. Been looking for a N54 donor motor for a while to use for donor parts, cheapest motor I found incl turbo's was 45k on gumtree and it didn't run.
4. I'm pulling R100k deep on my 335 just on mods and repairs.....so 30K incl motor and labour....I clearly should have stayed in EL.....

this thread has spiralled into one of those long threads with a lot of conflicting (to yours) opinions. I stopped reading at page 4, so I apologize if my post is outdated.
this is just my opinion...you should forget these haters. their opinions do not matter...what dp they know anyway? I am sure your informants are a lot more knowlegable - which is why they are informants. correct?
I say follow your dream and make this beautiful 320i faster by changing the engine. forget the 335i. get a 1M and pull out its engine and put it in the 320i. a 1m is no where as good as a pre-lci e90 320i! then when you have enough money for the m5 you will have two beasts on your drive!

Ps. your car is the best looking 320i I have seen. My heart feels like its going to explode because of its beauty - especially when its on the trailer.
