How dirty have your engine bay been

So last weekend I made a long weekend went to cederberg for some camping with friends.

Over the weekend we did about 150km of gravel roads and me normal in the back of the que.

Here is how my engine bay look after the weekend:

guess its going to take some work to get it clean again.

Gravel road is a good way to spot all oil leaks/sweats on the engine

I had my engine in my E30 dirtier than that after a holiday with about 300 to 400 Km's dirt road driving..


Have you checked your air filter? cause after driving in the back of the Q for a while it would have picked up a big amount of dust

I have not check the airfilter as I know it is going ot look terrible

Ok so i did not get time to do a full clean but my car needed a vacuum real bad so while I did that I first vacuumed the engine bay then reverse coupled the vacuum cleaner so it blows air. Here is some before after pics
