Went to Sport Compact today to test out some small changes I have made to the car. The changes are namely the addition of a Stett Charge Pipe and a larger meth nozzle. The conditions where very bad with some rain and very hectic humidity. For a change today I did numerous runs the one after the other with no cooling down in between to test the cars reliability and see how the software manages.
When the temperature reached a 33 degree ambient I managed to repeat my previous best of 12.37. There where no exit speeds for the day as they had timing equipment problems but the Vbox showed 187 which is a 1km/h gain compared to my previous best. Lets say that is the unofficial speed*.
All in all it was a great day with the car performing as good in worse condition. Its a sign I am heading in the right direction as the people that ran at the previous Sport Compact ran worse times.
The day was fun filled with lots of exhibition runs including turbo charged motorbikes and some seriously worked drag cars. They did a exhibition run of the jet car and the parachute failed so the pilot was forced to roll it into the barrier @400km/h+. Scary site but he walked away thankfully unscathed.
