Hmm I wasn't in Mozambique for quite a while...
I went on vacation in December 2011 to Namibie!
There I got a lift in a orange Supra. (Hentiesbaai)
And there is beautiful long kilometers of straight salt/sout roads/paaie!

Boy that was a joy.
That people there also drive some awesom vehicles. I saw quite a few GTI's/M3's/lots of Land Cruisers etc.
These neighbouring countries def. get cars at a better price.

Lots of nicer Japanese cars there, but also strange other cars too! There was this strange Yaris/Corolla clone ugly thing called a Platz - the speedometer was hectically under reading, something like 40km/h was more like 80km/h!!

No control of what is allowed to be imported, so they get these young used cars from the East for cheap-cheap. Of course, no motorplans or warranties etc, so a lot of them were showing signs of mechanical neglect! :nonono:

All that I really done "performance-wise" is:
3.5" (90mm) Mild Steel performance Exhaust (Straight from the gearbox till the end). She really sounds awesome!!:joy:

exhaust2.jpg

Then I had my whole steering rack reconditioned. Now she turns like a dream without ATF leaks from the boots!

Coming up:

Koni Sport Shocks with OEM Coil Springs. (import)
imagesCABYNZIB.jpg

Cusco front + back aluminium strut braces/towers (import)
imagesCA3PRQA8.jpg

Lenso Project D1R 18" Hyper Silver Narrow/Wide Mags.
D1R20HIS2049120x20455.jpg

And then most probably then I need to sort out the whole ECU. Replacing it with the Dicktator System through MRD. Boosting stock turbos at 1.2BAR hoping to make 400HP.
Or maybe I must just add a Apexi AVC-R Electronic Boost controller?? <(^^,)>
I'll keep ya posted.

Oh and I want to add some Xenon/HID kits.

Carbon Fiber Bonnet with hood clips.

Caska Navi/DVD/Bluetooth/Handsfree/TV/reverse camera system.

Recaro/MoMo reclinable seats....although my OEM seats sits very comfortably

Maybe change my colour of the mirrors?

Recarpet my interior (by whom I do not know??)

Get some OEM Supra floor Mats

TRD Speedo guages. (10k RPM and 320km/h ~ costs a fortune though)

etc.

Damn who wants to donate some $$$???? haha!!! Still some work to do!!!:flyfun:

I think I know this car, just checked in one of my old sns magazines. It was indeed owned by a guy in Bloem, he smashed it one day and was sponsored with repairs by a local Bloemfontein panelbeater.

It was not bad damage tho.

Car looks sweet:inlove:
Hey Sabre, Could you pleeeeeease (if not to much of an hassle) tell me in what issue it was? :fishwack::sorry:

Met you at the one run.

Love what you done with it really looks sexy.

As for the sns issue I think it is somewhere in the 90`s.

Remember the guy said he went around a circle and slipped on water or something and hit a tree.

Ok guys, what are we doing to get more members and maximum forum exposure?

I will create a facebook group called bmwfanatics which will be our facebook presence, I will also put a link to this forum into my other forum signatures.

Damn man! My heart is broken to see my baby like that!!:argh::bangdesk:
But thank you very much for all the effort! I really appreciate it.
I must say...whoever did the job...damn...it was done very well.
You would think after an accident like this the car will run like a crab (even after repairs) but not here. Everything is still in order. The guy that reconditioned my steering rack also told me the steering column is still in perfect shape. Then I asked him about the chassis...he also couldn't find a problem (like it was bent or something)

So I'm just very grateful for all who did a magnificent job/repair !!!
:rollsmile::joy::rollsmile::joy:

As I saw that my wheels not being sold, I decided to put them on.
